Subject:  CWG and your conversations...

Peniel,

I was just reading conversations you have written on the CWG website, and I have to ask...are you Mormon? Or come from a Mormon background? Or know
anything about what the Mormons teach???

Just curious... I am and was so moved by what you said because it follows exactly the teaching of our church...

Sincerely,
Kimberly

Subject:  May I quote you

Kimberly,

Thank you so much for your kind words.

First of all, may I quote you? (My book is in the process of being published now and I am looking for quotes for it.)

In the hopes that you will grant me permission to quote you, and since you spoke so nicely about the book, find attached the entire book in PDF (Adobe) format. (If you can't read this, let me know and I will send you a different format.)

To answer your question, I have studied extensively the Mormon religion, and about a hundred other major religions, and denominations and sub-groups in the past. (I loved to read.)

I do not remember much about the Mormon religion specifically from my studies, BUT TRUTH is truth regardless of its origin and approach. When Jesus speaks to me, He speaks the Truth. Many people of MANY different denominations and even some of different religions (other than Christianity) have heard the Truths that He proposes as "their truths" also.

I have heard this statement before and from other denominations also. If you read carefully, very rarely does Jesus refer to any denominational ideas in His conversations. He would rather draw people together with universal truths that apply to us all rather than to cause us further separation by specifying "one way".

I would love for you to read all (or part) of the attached book and then tell me what you think of it. It has touched many people before, as I hope it will touch you!

Enjoy. If you want to talk, e-mail me or call. I love to talk about Jesus, religion, God, the book, love, life, etc. If you wish, I can call you after 9 pm CST on my cellular and it won't cost anything - just let me know!

May God grant you peace and joy and fill your life with His presence.

Subject:  Explaining the quote, and CWG stuff

Kimberly,

I didn’t mean to use the full quote that the book proposes beliefs in alignment with any particular denomination, rather the beautifully put feeling that you described.

Here is the quote that I would like to use:

I am and was so moved by what you said…

--Kimberly (A friend of Peniel G.G.G.)

And the “reasons” why will not be quoted. It is always best to make the quotes very short and just express “what” and not “why”.

I have been back on the CWG board some, reading much of your posts. Good to see another “non-CWGer” there defending our own views.

I, like you, find much good in CWG, but I certainly will not give up my faith for one that contains less truth. I am very interested in the fact that this group encourages personal and actual conversation with God. I have felt very alone for 23 years, as I have been the only person in my situation that I knew. When I found these CWGers, even with some of their flawed beliefs, it was like a breath of fresh air. People who didn’t think me “weird” for having had conversations with God.

BTW, there are some strong suspicions that my books and Neale’s books are TOO similar and many have accused me of outright ripping him off, changing the words around to make it “Christian” but keeping the theme, form, style, approach, format, design, and even some of the exact same words (i.e. the first 4 lines of my Book 1, Chapter 1 and Neal’s entire chapter 11 of Book 1.)

They say this, UNTIL they find out that my book was hand-written in 1985 in California, and that I have the original dated manuscripts. I have many copies printed and distributed prior to 1992, when Neale claims to have begun having his conversations. I tend to agree with much of this, there are way too many amazingly coincidental similarities between the books.

My book was sent to many publishers in the late eighties and some large marketing firms in California to try to find a market for it (as the book was unique and no other book like it was in publication anywhere at the time.) I have recently been informed that Neale Walsch was a director at a large marketing firm in California in the late eighties, although this is very difficult to confirm. Neale is always reluctant to talk about his past businesses and jobs, and is quite secretive about parts of his past. Originally, my book was entitled: “The Truth – My Conversations with God” but now with “Conversations with God” being so tied with Neale’s New Age book set, my publishers and I agreed to modify the title. (As you can see, even the TITLES were extremely similar!) All of the “old copies” of my book bear this title.

This is all probably water under the bridge, but as you read my book, if you see some striking similarities to it and CWG, just remember that mine was completed in 1985, seven years before Neale began.

I’m just dying to see how a “Mormon” views Jesus “non-denominational truths” presented in my book!!!!

FYI – After I was 18 and left my father’s house and rule, I threw away my childhood faith and religion. I searched desperately for Truth for 5 years, and then in 1979 - Jesus found me and began teaching me the Truth. I have since reembraced my childhood faith and remained faithful to Him and it since.

Peace be with you,

Peniel G.G.G.

===================================

If you are referring to the sincerity tests that the book discusses, the questions are at the end of Chapter 9 (but, they are really only intended for someone who wishes to "apprentice" for the truth.) If you are - WOW - have you already read up through chapter 9?

If you need to understand the "sincerity testing"...

In the past 20 years, many persons have wanted some in-depth one-on-one training sessions with me - basically, spend lots of their free time one-on-one with me personally to have Jesus teach them what He wants for them at that time, usually for a period of a few weeks to a few months. You might call it an in-depth spiritual retreat. Before I will commit such time to an individual, I will "test their sincerity" to make sure they are making a wise decision. This "apprenticeship" for Truth has happened about 50 or 60 times in he last 20 years. That is what is being referred to in the book regarding "testing someone's sincerity" if they are "brought to me" to teach, in-depth, and one-on-one.

If you are referring to something else, I must have missed the point.

May God grant you peace and fill your life with His grace.

Kimberly,

Wonderful! Beautiful! Amazing!!

I think I love you... no, I know I love you!

If and when you get ready, I LOVE to talk. I can talk for free on my cellular plan after 9 pm CST and all day on weekends. As a matter of a fact, I just had a 2-hour conversation with a young man who got the book in 1991 and has been reading it off and on for ten years. He was on my old Bulletin Board system (before the internet) and he was just in high school back then. He (like many others before) has mentioned how this book has changed his life.

He recently looked up "Peniel GGG" on Google and found that the book he has (titled The Truth - My Conversations with God" was now being published under a different name. He advanced ordered 2 copies of the paperback being published in April 2003 - MY FIRST REAL SALE!!!

He found my e-mail address and e-mailed me. We e-mailed back and forth this last week, and tonight we talked for a couple of hours on the phone! A wonderful conversation!!

We plan to talk LOTS more later... (well, I will babble about God and Love and Truth and Joy and relationships and such, and he will listen and occasionally ask a question, which will send me off on another tangent where I will babble on for a long time about that. I LOVE to talk about LOVE and Dad and faith and Peace... just try me!!)

May Jesus fill your life with joy and light and give you peace of mind.

Subject:  The Love of God shared

Kimberly,

Your words touch me. You encourage me to continue, and to share more.

Indeed, I have always found that when two kindred spirits with great love for Dad talk to each other, they immediately have a "communion" with each other.

I feel this connection with all those whom truly love Father. Their love shines forth in their words like beacons on the shore to lost ships, imperiled by troubled seas in our modern world.

I am so happy to have met another Sister Lover of Father. Let us speak of Love, as best mortals may and praise He Who Is with our very lives.

DON'T MISS "Peniel's Ode" in the BACK OF THE BOOK you have, it is "My heartfelt expression of my love for Dad."

If you feel my book could be of value, assistance or interest to anyone you know, it is available at the website listed in my SIG lines (www.MCWJ.com which stands for "My Conversations with Jesus" to make it easy to remember.)

Although the site says the paperback is not available until April (which is true) I have plenty of "Galley copies" (in three ring binders) that are available to any whom are interested. If someone cannot afford the price (about $20 with shipping) I send free copies to those who truly cannot afford it yet are truly interested in it (an e-mail to me explaining is all it takes.)

May Dad give you success, well-being, and good-fortune and fill your life with every blessing and your heart and mind with peace and joy.

Subject:  Nanny job

Well...I haven't finished it yet.... I got a nanny job two weeks ago...and its just killing me with the two kids I have now...so I think I’m going to quit...Its killing my spirituality.

I’ve been tired and stressed and a minute I do have at home I have spent making up for the time I was gone. So I haven’t been reading my scriptures, or saying my prayers...I’ve been irritable....

I keep thinking well its new; I can adjust to it...change is hard...blah blah blah...

Anyway...HOW ARE YOU!!!!!
It’s nice to be home for a day!

I believe Heavenly Father wired men and women this way on purpose.... My husband seems to be able to work and work but his faith stands strong...I on the other hand need constant nourishment. And then able to pass that on to my children and my husband...kinda like he gets some of his spirituality through me...I believe women are the heart of the home and have a great responsibility in seeing that the spiritual welfare of her family is provided for...

In seeing that the atmosphere of the home is one of peace... by keeping it clean, by providing wonderful meals, by providing never ending unconditional love...honestly providing for the nurturing aspect to the souls of the whole family....

having this nanny job...is negatively affecting that.... I feel peace just thinking about not doing it.... and feel stress and unsettled when I think about doing it.

That is the spirit...I need to listen to the spirit and I will be blessed for doing so....

The CWG folks brought back a thread you started on Fear.... I thought you might want to check it out again real quick...

I cant wait for your book to come out for all these CWG followers that are feeing they are still missing something from CWG! I think this book of yours will help clear some things up for them!

GOD BLESS PENIAL!
Thanks for listening....

Love Always,
Kimberly

Subject:  Do not worry about the book - take care of yourself and family first

Kimberly,

All that you have said rings very true to me. You have apparently already decided in your heart about your nanny job.

There is no hurry to finish my book, if ever. I am amazed you were able to read as much as you did so quickly.

Take the time to take care of yourself and your family, first an foremost of all.

I think you are right in all that you said. My wife has always been my "help-mate" and done all the things you explain as your "job". What a wonderful blessing to be able to love God through loving those close to you and taking care of them.

I pray that God give you strength and courage - you will do what you know is best!

Subject:  The book is out

Kimberly,

My sweet love. The book is finally out in print and available.

If you really do want to buy several copies (as you mentioned) I would arrange for a discount for you. (My cousin just purchased 12 copies to give out to her friends and relatives!!! NOW THAT makes an author feel truly emotional... that someone thought our writing good enough to want to share it with others - AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE!!!

See the website: http://www.mcwj.com/ and e-mail me again and we shall talk some more!

May God grant you success, well-being and good fortune and fill you heart with love and your mind with peace.
